JAPAN!

Ok, yikes. its been like a year since I posted anything. oops.

But we have some awesome news, we are moving to Okinawa Japan! Chris will still be flying his current airplane, the KC135 refuling tanker, only his mission will be slightly different working for the PACAF. We are hoping this means less deployments- fingers crossed!

We found out in October, which gave us plenty of time to get the house ready to be sold, and downsize our lifestyle for the big move. I am hoping to be better at this blog as we venture into the unknown. Hopefully for those who we cant see on a regular basis anymore, we can keep you in the loop on our wild adventures in the orient.

Cruise recently turned 18 months old! WHAT! Where has the time gone? I love looking back at this blog of my preggo self, I had no clue what to expect when this little person came into our family and stole our hearts completely. He has truly been such a blessing and helped Chris and I grow in our love for one another while learning to love his tiny and wild soul. Our roles as husband and wife have evolved as we made room for our Mom and Dad titles, and we have learned more about what it is to love unconditionally in the mere 1.5 years he has been on this planet than we thought possible.

I am excited to document the (surely stressful) move with a toddler overseas. All the adjustments and obstacles we encounter will give me plenty to write about. I hope it will inspire some of our friends and loved ones to come over and see the tropical heaven we will be blessed to call home for the next 3 years.

In the mean time, I will leave you with a few tid-bits of info on us recently.

~ Cruise weighed in at 24.1 lbs and is only in the 25% for height and weight. Our little guy :)
~ We sold our house after only 4 days on the market. Prayers answered.
~ Cruise will be getting a brand new cousin in September and we are thrilled!
~ Chris is training hard to compete in his very first 1/2 Ironman Triathalon in less than a month! SO PROUD!
